Security Forces Corner Terrorists in Doda, Two-Hour Encounter in Kastigarh Forest
An encounter between security forces and terrorists has been reported in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter took place in the upper areas of Kastigarh forest. According to sources, after cornering the terrorists, the security forces engaged in a gunfight for about two hours.

The security forces had received secret information about the presence of terrorists in the area, following which they swiftly launched a search operation in the Kastigarh forest. The terrorists, hiding in the upper areas of the forest, opened fire on the security forces, who retaliated with gunfire.

Heavy exchange of fire took place from both sides during this encounter. The security forces cordoned off the area, blocking all escape routes for the terrorists. The operation was jointly carried out by the army, police, and CRPF personnel.

Officials reported that so far, there have been no casualties, but the security forces continued their search operation to either capture or eliminate all the terrorists.

Given the terrorist activities in Doda and its surrounding areas, the security forces have heightened their vigilance. Locals have been urged to immediately report any suspicious activities to the security forces.

Following this encounter, security has been tightened in Doda and nearby areas, with the security forces stating that they are prepared to face any challenge.
