Political Controversy Erupts Over Meat and Fish Market Outside Deoria Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh

A political controversy has erupted over the meat and fish market outside the railway station in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Shalabh Mani Tripathi has given an ultimatum to the district administration to remove the meat and fish market outside the railway station before the holy month of Shravan.

Shalabh Mani Tripathi stated that the month of Shravan is sacred for followers of the Hindu religion and having a meat and fish market during this time is inappropriate. He has demanded that the district administration remove this market before Shravan begins.

The Samajwadi Party (SP) has strongly objected to this issue. SP leader Manish Singh has written a letter to the District Magistrate (DM) requesting not to consider Shalabh Mani Tripathi's ultimatum. Manish Singh argues that this market has been operating there for a long time and there is no justification for its removal.

SP leaders believe that this issue has been raised to incite religious sentiments and will negatively impact the daily lives of the common people. They have urged the administration not to take any steps against public interest under any pressure.

This political controversy has also caused differences among local residents. While some people support the removal of the market, many consider it a political conspiracy. The district administration has not yet given a clear response to this issue, but it is evident that the matter will escalate further.
