Bandipora, July 20: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shakeel ul Rehman, today visited the upper areas of Boninar Onagam. The visit aimed to assess and address the needs and challenges faced by residents living in the area.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with locals to gain firsthand insights into infrastructure & healthcare accessibility, and concerns specific to the area, including road connectivity via Onagam and the need for additional staff at High School Boninar.
After patiently listening to the issues and concerns of the public, the Deputy Commissioner assured prompt redressal of all the genuine issues on priority.
Deputy Commissioner said, administration is dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by our people in the upper areas and visiting these areas allows us to better understand the challenges faced by people and work towards sustainable solutions to their concerns.
He emphasized the administration's commitment to ensuring equitable access to essential services for all.
The Deputy Commissioner also visited Govt. High School Boninar and interacted with students and teachers to gather feedback and assess the educational requirements of the area.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by Vice Chairperson District Development Council, Kousar Shafeeq; ACD Irfan Bahadur; Tehsildar Bandipora, Firdous Qadri; Executive Engineer R&B, Assadullah Najar; Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, Mutayib Bashir; and other concerned officers and officials.
