Jammu, July 6, 2024: Another batch of 5876 pilgrims departed from Jammu today for the sacred Shri Amarnath Yatra. The group set off from the Bhagwati Nagar base camp with enthusiasm and devotion.

At 4:00 AM, the pilgrims boarded buses to embark on the challenging but spiritually enriching journey. In view of security concerns, local police and CRPF teams had cordoned off the entire area. Officials stated that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure a smooth and safe journey.

Special arrangements have been made for this year's pilgrimage, including enhanced medical services, emergency facilities, and an increased number of rest stops. Both the state and central governments have worked together to ensure the safety and convenience of the pilgrims.

A wave of devotion and excitement was evident among the pilgrims. Many are participating in this pilgrimage for the first time, while some have been a part of this sacred journey multiple times. They prayed for a safe and successful journey with the blessings of Lord Shiva.

This batch of pilgrims will traverse a challenging 48-kilometer climb to reach the holy cave, where they will have the darshan of Lord Shiva and offer their devotion.
