Jammu, June 29, 2024: In response to the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers staged a vigorous protest outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Jammu today. Protesters chanted slogans such as "Release Kejriwal" and "Give Justice."
Senior AAP leaders claim that Kejriwal's arrest is politically motivated and consider it an attack on democracy. AAP workers have demanded Kejriwal's immediate release and have appealed to the judiciary for an impartial investigation.
In light of the increasing crowd outside the BJP office, the police have tightened security measures. The administration has urged people to maintain peace and stated that they are closely monitoring the situation.
This protest follows Kejriwal's arrest last week on alleged corruption charges. Since his arrest, AAP supporters have held demonstrations across the country, calling it an attack on democracy.
