A meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. 

Sunil Thappa, Additional Secretary of the Organization, and discussed present education scenario and long pending demands of teaching community.



The demands as are under:-

1. A clear cut transfer policy should be made in favour of R,RET teachers especially for married 

female Teachers.

2. Release the pending amount (such as G.P Fund, Gratuity, and leave encashment) of those who

have retired from the education Department as soon as possible.

3. Clear pending time bound promotion cases of Masters.

4. Regularize all incharge Masters, Headmasters, lecturers, ZEOs and other officers instead of 

assigning look after charge.

5. Transfer all those teachers, Masters, Headmasters, lecturers, ZEOs, who have completed their 

tenure in far flung area.

6. Reconsider over the recently issued letter of DSEJ regarding the acquiring higher qualification 

by teaching staff during service.

7. Release pending honorarium of mid-day -meal workers and Aayas.

8. Fill Existing vacant posts of Masters, Headmasters, Lecturers and fourth class by DPC and 

teachers by new appointments. 

While speaking on the occasion Pradeep Singh Jamwal President USTA, expressed deep 

concerned over the recently issued the letter of DSEJ/TRG/2024/4674-84 Dated 28/02/2024 

regarding acquiring of higher qualification by Teaching staff of School Education Department 

during service without obtaining permission from Administrative Department. He further added 

that this is very difficult for the teachers, especially RET, and R,RET teachers because their 

service book is prepared only after the completion of the five years periods or regularization. 

Finding 15-20 years old enrolment card and date sheet is a difficult task. He has requested from 

the Director School Education and Higher Authority that the above should be reconsidered.
