Ganderbal, August 30, 2026: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has announced a spot round admission session for registered candidates seeking admission to the 04-Year B.Sc. Honours Zoology Programme against leftover seats.

According to a notice issued by the Office of the Dean, School of Life Sciences, candidates listed in Annexure-I have been directed to attend the spot round on August 31, 2026 (Monday) from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Department of Zoology, Science Campus, Nuner, Ganderbal.

The admission session will be held for General and Supernumerary General Category (SN-General) candidates. Seat allocation will be based purely on the CUET-PG 2026 score.

The university has stated that the Admission Fee plus 1st Semester Fee is ₹20,040 for General candidates and ₹23,540 for SN-General candidates.

Candidates selected under the SN-General category will have to pay the programme tuition fee multiplied by 1.5, or as approved by the competent authority.

The university further clarified that candidates mentioned in Annexure-I who fail to attend the spot round will be treated as “Not Interested”, after which the next candidate in the merit list will be given an opportunity for admission.
