Doda, May 5, 2026:

The Office of the District Development Commissioner (DDC), Doda, has issued a public notice regarding the relocation of the upcoming Public Outreach Programme/Block Diwas.

According to the notice, the programme, which was earlier scheduled to be held at Gai Dessa Block Bhagwah on May 6, 2026 (Wednesday) at 11:30 AM, has now been shifted to Panchayat Ghar Dradhu, Block Bhadarwah.

The administration has urged residents of Dradhu Panchayat and nearby areas to actively participate in the programme. The initiative aims to provide a platform for the public to directly interact with district officials and get their grievances addressed on the spot.

Several departments will set up stalls during the programme to spread awareness about government schemes and services. These include:

Agriculture & Allied Sectors

Industries & Commerce Department and KVIB

Handicrafts & Handlooms

SBDU (Mission YUVA)

Social Welfare Department

J&K Bank

Each stall will be supervised by a senior officer to ensure proper dissemination of information.

Additionally, all district and sectoral officers have been directed to attend the programme in person to ensure efficient and prompt grievance redressal.
